The Varian / Agilent Turbo-V 1001 Navigator is a high-capacity, heavy-duty turbomolecular pump engineered for demanding industrial, semiconductor, and large-scale research vacuum architectures. Delivering nitrogen pumping speeds up to 1,050 L/s, this pump achieves an ultra-clean, completely oil-free high to ultra-high vacuum environment.

The TV 1001 utilizes advanced permanently lubricated ceramic ball bearings positioned on the low-vacuum foreline side, paired with Varian's proprietary Macrotorr stages. This design provides exceptional high-foreline pressure tolerance and a massive compression ratio for light gases ( for ), permitting the use of much smaller backing pumps. Optimized with a radiation- and magnetic-field-proof rotor structure, this model yields a Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) exceeding 250,000 hours.
