The Pfeiffer Vacuum DCU 001 (P/N: PM 041 816 BT) is a compact display and control unit designed specifically to act as the primary interface for Pfeiffer Vacuum electronic turbomolecular drive controllers (such as the TC series). Engineered to serve as a reliable benchtop or 19-inch rack-integrated operating module, the DCU 001 enables lab personnel to easily adjust, monitor, and configure all critical turbo pump parameters in real time.

This is the Basic Unit variant configured to operate without its own integrated internal mains power transformer grid.Instead, it draws its raw working 24VDC operating voltage dynamically through the standard RS-485 serial data connection link directly from the pump's accompanying electronic drive unit. This design minimizes footprint, lowers heat dissipation on active lab benches, and streamlines cabling.

The front interface features a high-contrast, easily scannable display that reports real-time system status metrics, including rotor rotational speed, current power consumption, error diagnostics, and backing pump states.
