Leybold TURBOVAC TW 70 H Turbomolecular Pump

Part Number: 800002V2236
Condition: Refurbished
In Stock

The Leybold TURBOVAC TW 70 H (P/N 800002V2236) is a compact, high-performance turbomolecular pump designed for reliable continuous operation in high and ultra-high vacuum applications. Featuring a hybrid bearing system (grease-lubricated ceramic ball bearings with magnetic suspension assistance), the TW 70 H delivers high compression ratios and high volume flow for light gases like Hydrogen (H2) and Helium (He).

This unit comes equipped with a DN 63 ISO-K high-vacuum inlet flange and an integrated RS232 communication interface (via TDS drive unit configuration) for direct computer or PLC monitoring. It is an ideal, low-vibration vacuum solution for mass spectrometry, R&D systems, surface analysis, particle accelerators, and semiconductor process tool bypass lines.

Key Features

  • High Compression Ratio: Excellent compression for N2, He, and H2 under light gas load conditions.

  • Integrated Interface: Features RS232 digital protocol for parameter remote control and status monitoring.

  • Flexible Cooling Options: Configured for convection/air cooling; adaptable to water cooling blocks for continuous high gas loads.

  • Low Maintenance Design: High-reliability grease-lubricated ceramic bearings ensure a long service life and minimal down-time.

  • Fast Acceleration: Run-up time to nominal speed (approx. 72,000 RPM) in under 1.5 minutes.
